I think the Choose Your Own Webventure project was one of my favorite projects from this semester. Completing and understanding the labs were easier than previous projects and I felt like I had skills built up in photoshop that prepared me to make Gifs. I can see myself continuing to make Gifs in the future.

My idea for the Choose Your Own Webventure was to create a fantasy world and have the viewers choose between different pathways. Each pathways would take them to a different outcome, either good or bad depending on what they picked. I created four different fantasy characters. A fairy, a dwarf, a troll, and a goblin and created Gifs for each of them, displaying the environment they lived in, their strengths and their weaknesses. I think the Gif pages were my strongest part of the project. Each character had their own linear journeys, and I think doing it like this slowed down my progress. I wasn't able to design individual pages as in depth as I wanted to. If I had more time to work on the project than I probably could have made it stronger, and had more complex endings, but because the deadline was a week after it was assigned, I think I should have saved myself some work and had some overlapping paths / outcomes for the characters. Then, I could have had more time and made each page more detailed. Some of my pathways were predictable, or underdeveloped. I also could have created more Gifs, which was my favorite part of the finished project. Overall I think I did a good job, but if I had to correct something I would have used my time to fit the time constraint.
